Timber Sculptress
In carpentry training, the students learn sound craftsmanship, artistic use of wood as a material and techniques important for the design process, such as drawing, modelling and moulding.
The assignments are chosen so that they awaken the joy of craftsmanship and promote the development of the students' own creative abilities.
The theoretical foundation of the training includes other subjects such as wood science, art history, anatomy, font design and sculptural techniques, as well as mathematics, economics and social studies.
